A satire website and personal project built to explore what goes into making a real e-commerce store from scratch.

The fictional premise: two dudes importing "exotic" bananas from South America, operating out of the sidewalk in front of Lei Kava in Orlando, FL. Most of the bananas are not exotic. They are bananas. The word tests well in conversation.

No goods are sold, shipped, or balloon-delivered. No payments are processed. It is a work of satire.

On the technical side, the goal was to build a complete storefront: product listings, a merch shop, cart, checkout flow, FAQ, and MDX-driven content pages. All the moving parts of a real store, without any of the bananas.

Built with Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind CSS v4, and React Hook Form.
